Creating The Future Of Mentoring Together The Mentoring Alliance For Action is a commitment by individuals and organisations for their support, time and expertise in creating the future of mentoring in Singapore, together

About Us

The Mentoring AfA aims to promote a culture of mentoring in Singapore, strengthen youth development outcomes through mentorship and increase accessibility and partnership in mentoring by supporting youths to better navigate relevant mentoring programmes/opportunities based on their specific life stage, backgrounds and needs.

By working together, the AfA plans to uplift the quality of mentoring in Singapore and co-create opportunities to support and empower youth in areas of mentoring. To be successful, Singapore must do this together and we need individuals and organizations from various sectors to pool together their expertise, for our youth

Key Features of the Mentoring AfA

  1. Action-oriented – we co-create and co-deliver together
  2. Cross-sector collaboration – involves stakeholders from government, community and businesses
  3. Tackling complex issues with high public salience and involvement of multiple stakeholders

Strategic Outcomes of Mentoring AfA

  1. Promote a culture of mentoring in Singapore and uplift the quality of mentoring programmes for the benefit of our youth
  2. Strengthen youth development outcomes through mentorship, via support for them to find their identity and purpose, as well as enabling youth to make better-informed choices in education, career, and life transitions.
  3. Increase awareness, accessibility and participation in mentoring, by supporting youths to better navigate relevant mentoring opportunities based on their specific life stage, backgrounds and needs.
